Pre-wedding Photography

Being the centre of attention on your wedding day can make some couples feel nervous, but having shot weddings for over the past 12 years, I can safely say all my couples started out feeling like that.

I've found that a relaxed pre-wedding shoot can be just what they need to help them ease into my style of photography.

No two couples are the same, their interaction, confidence or body language can make images which are amazing memories, even to themselves.

I personally chat to each couple before their pre-wedding shoot and converse with them about how to feel relaxed in front of the camera and turn it into an experience to be loved and cherished.

As each couple get more pictures together, they tend to relax into the shoot. Every couple have said they found it a brilliant way to spend quality time together and get a selection of fabulous natural images.

Different locations can be brought into play if the weather requires and I've personally shot pre-weddings in Lissan House and Killymoon Castle with the couples prior arrangements.

If you prefer an outdoor shoot, there's a great selection of local beauty spots close to Cookstown: such as, Drum Manor Forest Park or a quaint historical location like Wellbrook Beetling Mill.

Natural looking photos are created by the couples themselves, looking into each others eyes usually gets a few smiles or laughs and then learning how to shape their hands or feet placement can make moments more intimate.

Moving around a chosen location means the couples get a real feel for what might happen on their wedding day, and also helps them visualise their own pictures ....
